On the first Friday of every month, the beautiful setting of Cellule 133 vibrates to the sound of forró.

In February, discover the wonderful Madame Baião: four female musicians based in Barcelona will blow you away with their diversity, nuance and energy. They mix old classics, unknown B-sides and new favourites, as well as exploring the origins of forró in coco, maracatu, and caboclinho.

Organising forró parties is expensive and takes a lot of work, but the ticket prices are still relatively low. So inspired by other dance communities (thanks Frisse Folk!), we are trial-running a Fair Trade Price for our parties.
