Forró is a highly diverse Brazilian couple dance from the north-east of the country which is both dynamic and joyful, sweet and sensual. Above all, it is fun! Come and try it out...

  •  Three different levels, clearly defined and the content for each level is shared regularly throughout the trimester

  • Classes cover repertoire, technique, connection, musicality, expression and creativity

  • 30 minutes of practice time between the two classes to provide more opportunities for you to practice what you have learnt and to promote connections between the levels

  • Each trimester will include a session dedicated to personal feedback from the teacher, the assistants in the class and your peers to better personalise your learning

  • As level 2 and 3 students, you also gain access to the lower level classes to consolidate your basics and/or learn the opposite role.

Forró Brussels has evolved hugely since Sarah started teaching in 2014, and the classes have gone through multiple configurations as the community has developed and grown.

At the start of the 2019-2020 season, Sarah introduced a new format for the classes to enable each and every student to develop at the rhythm which suits them best.
